Brief History of Organization

 

The Union contributed to the establishment of several youth centers, and provided financial support to cover rent and renovation expenses of youth centers.

The Union has been active in youth exchange programs with Arab and foreign countries, and is also a member in several local networks; such as; "Informal Education Advisory Committee" and in the Palestinian Youth Council's Steering Committee.

The Union has several projects that include collecting Folkloric Tales, youth leadership training project, in addition to other future projects.

 

 

Objectives

 

  • Supporting the establishment of different community centers, particularly in rural areas.

  • Developing youth leadership skills to create a network of youth leaders who are capable of running and developing youth and children programs.

  • Enhancing the network and cooperation with other organizations to raise the level of youth programs.

  • Supporting youth exchange programs and International camps, as well as cooperation with other international youth organizations.

  • promoting the importance of local community, particularly children, women and youth sectors.

  • Mobilizing youth to fight against destructive social phenomena such as violence, drugs, unemployment, early marriage, etc

 

 

Activities

 

Youth Camps and seeks to promote tolerance between youth and children through the Camp's different activities.
