Brief History of Organization

 

The Palestinian Center for the Development of Micro Projects was established in Jerusalem in November 1995, by an initiative of a group of Palestinian prominent figures lead by Mr. Faisal Al Husseini. The Center received its funding from the European Union following the signing of an agreement between the two parties. During the past period, the Center delivered its commitment to this agreement, as it supported 53 development projects in fields of education, health, culture, environment, and agriculture that were carried out in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.

  • Target geographical areas: Jerusalem city and villages, the Gaza Strip, and some areas in the West Bank with urgent needs.

  • Target organizations: non-profit, non-governmental registered Palestinian

 

Programs

 

  • To promote awareness on women, children, and youth rights and guarantee their protection in accordance with relevant international conventions and charts.

  • That seek to develop human resource and institutional capacities.

  • That work towards the development of legislation that guarantee children, women, and youth rights
