History of Organization |

American
Friends Society Committees have been working in the Middle East
since 1948. The youth program in Palestine started in September
of 1995, and aims to empower non-governmental youth
organizations and youth groups in Palestine to enable them
achieve their goals and aspirations, as well as to build a youth
leadership.
To achieve these goals, the Quaker’s ‘youth program conducted an
assessment study of youth needs in 1997. |

with (13-25) age groups in areas of programming, organization,
and management, and to support the building process of civil
society, to ensure the sustainability of these organizations as
a permanent sector in the society. |
